Tallulah Loves.. Cover Ups

Where the temperature goes nobody knows! British summer time seems to be upon us, in-between these sporadic rainy days. Everyone needs an escape from the city from time to time so here are Tallulah's best beach cover ups for every holiday need. 

The Jayley kimonos have been worn as everything from a decorative house robe to a jacket to throw over your little black dress. They're also a beautiful option to layer over your swimwear, the longer length in lighter colours are my favourite and will definitely have a place in my suitcase this summer.
The stunning crochet tunics are also by Jayley. Not only do they work perfectly when popping to a bar on some far away, white sand beach but would be a fabulous top to layer over cut offs for a 70's, festival inspired look. 
And of course, where would we be with out some light weight cotton in a gorgeous print? Rosa Faia checks the more traditional cover up box. The perfect outfit for breakfast on a Tuscan terrace..

Be Choosy.

Never has one's personal taste been more prominent as when women are choosing new lingerie. Even though I'm sure your partner will enjoy the results of fabulously well-fitting lingerie, above everything else it's for you. The majority of the time it's the secret to feeling your best and adding that spring in your step; no one else need see it. 

Tallulah Lingerie and our wonderful Tallulah ladies have always been huge advocates for all things beautiful lace, we were sure nothing else would beat it. Define T-Shirt Bra..

We seem to have found ourselves in the month of May. No one has an explanation as to how we've arrived at this point of 2015 so suddenly without any warning. I mean May happens every year, but this year has a certain surprise element to it..

And with May's arrival comes the debate, is it Spring, is it Summer, do I still wear a jumper, it's not quite spaghetti strap weather is it? 

I've noticed that with the weather being here, there and everywhere many of my Tallulah ladies have been in search of the same thing, the perfect t-shirt bra. 
When you don't know what season we're in never mind what outfit choices to make a simple t-shirt is always a winner. Still, time after time women worry how to layer the appropriate bra beneath these beloved tops that seems to expose every laced trim.

I've put together my top five t-shirt bras, some choices may seem unlikely but from where I stand, the bra is just as much part of the outfit and can be a fabulous statement as well as a practicality. As long as you're fitted correctly, the old rule that a 'boring smooth nude' is your only option does not apply.

For all our Tallulah ladies who're not able to drop buy for an hour or two in the fitting room and a glass of bubbles, you can now get your lingerie fix from your sofa. 

Tallulah is still very much about a fabulous face to face experience, this is why not all of our dreamy pieces are available online. Well fitting lingerie is what we're all about ladies! I may have mentioned before that Tallulah is very proud to be the only UK stockist of Christine Vancouver silks. The most gorgeous silk pieces from across the Atlantic ocean in new dreamy colours are now draped around the boudoir so, whether it's your first time trying a Christine or if you collect them in every colour, popping in to play in the fitting room is a must!

A Royal Blue

As much as I adore beautiful lingerie in classic black, nude and ivory tones, it's always the beautiful flashes of colour that immediately draw my eye when venturing through my size box. 

There's something about a lingerie set in a stunning colour that comes hand in hand with lace filled dreams. Call me crazy but I know you know the feeling?! A unique colour is always a must have.. 

This week I've been lusting after the brand new collection by Aubade. 
Rich royal blue lace with tassel details and subtle trimmings make for my favourite style of Aubade. In addition the hot pink embroidered straps remind me of the woven bracelets that'll line our bronzed arms when we return from far away holiday destinations this summer. 

I'll be wearing this beneath my low cut t shirts and draped dresses. Gorgeous coloured details such as these are the perfect finishing touch for any outfit on a sunny day,
